Ambassador: India will not oppose Belarus' accession to SCO, BRICS

Our application to BRICS has been submitted this year. I have discussed this matter with a representative of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
Reviewing the outcomes of this meeting, I can say that no decision has been made yet on BRICS expansion; various mechanisms, approaches and modalities of interaction within BRICS are in the works for countries that have submitted applications.
