Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement during the government conference held on 20 October to discuss the improvement of the system of planning and overseeing the implementation of strategic projects, BelTA has learned.
The head of state described the Belarusian nuclear power plant as a strategic project. He reminded that before this project the country had not explored such technologies and the construction of the nuclear power plant had led to the emergence of a new industry.
