Plans to ratify Belarus-Vietnam visa waiver agreement in 2024
Plans are in place to ratify a visa waiver agreement between Belarus and Vietnam next year, Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov told BelTA.
According to Vladimir Borovikov, the signing of the visa waiver agreement between Belarus and Vietnam will boost tourism between the two countries. “Today Vietnam is very popular with Belarusian tourists, so the simplification of visa requirements for our citizens will be much welcomed,” he said. “It will encourage Belarusians to visit Vietnam's beautiful resorts more often.
On the other hand, the Vietnamese are showing a great interest in our country.” For example, the historical memory theme is widely cultivated in Vietnam, so its residents have an interest in paying a visit to the Brest Fortress Memorial, the historical and cultural complex Stalin's Line, and other iconic sites of military past in Belarus.
